Designed with ease of installation in mind, the system comes ready to use with minimal assembly required. The included marking template, screws, and anchors make it suitable for installation on drywall, masonry, bricks, or concrete walls.
Boasting a sturdy and durable construction, the system can hold up to 120 lbs. The mounts are made from heavy-duty ABS plastic, while the rod is crafted from durable stainless steel. When folded, the system maintains a discreet profile, occupying minimal space.
The dimensions of the system are as follows: Closed (18" H x 36" – 60" W x 1 1/4" D), Opened (18" H x 36" – 60" W x 14" D). The InstaHangers can be used independently, providing 12 inches of hanging space each. The steel rod has a diameter of 1/4".
The easy-to-follow installation process involves the following steps:
- Using a pencil, draw a vertical line on the wall and align the template on it.
- Pierce the template to mark the top and bottom screw locations.
- Remove the template and install the screw anchors (if necessary).
- Partially install the screws into the wall, leaving half of the screw shaft exposed.
- Set the unit on the wall by aligning the mounting slots with the screws.
- Remove the end of the hanging rod from the unit to allow full access to the upper screw.
- Tighten the screws snugly, taking care not to over-tighten.
- Once both InstaHangers are installed, slide the slotted end of the telescopic rod over the end and onto the InstaHANGER hanging rod.
- Reinsert the hanging rod and slide it along the two InstaHANGER hanging rods to the kinked resting position for a locked-on installation.
- Alternatively, you can simply rest the telescopic rod onto the kinked locations of the two InstaHANGER rods for a quick and simple solution.
